1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), ride data (pickup, destination, prices, times), driver documents for verification, and messages sent via the contact form.

2. Why we collect it
To operate the ride marketplace, verify drivers as required by law, process subscriptions, provide support, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

3. Storage and retention
Data is stored on servers within the EU. Ride history is retained for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised in line with statutory periods.

4. Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing, by contacting support@root.taxi.

5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: session login and language preference. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
